According to Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP), Palestinians have faced an average of six Israeli settler attacks every day since the beginning of 2026, the highest level of settler violence recorded since monitoring began in 2006. These incidents have included physical assaults, killings, arson, damage to homes and farmland, attacks on livestock, raids on communities, and other acts of intimidation. This escalation continues alongside settlement expansion, land confiscation, and the ongoing occupation since 1967.
Despite this, Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank are rarely held accountable by Israeli authorities and are rarely indicted.
