Israel’s ongoing assaults and forced displacement prevent many women from reaching medical facilities, forcing them to give birth in tents without needed medical support.
Adding to the dire situation, Gaza’s hospitals, which have been repeatedly attacked since the war began, are now nonfunctional and lack basic medical supplies, leaving women no safe place to give birth.
