Israeli military forcibly displaced 40,000 Palestinian in Jenin and Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank.

Amnesty international reported that around 40,000 Palestinian refugees have been forcibly removed from Jenin, Tulkarem, Nur Shams, and El Far’a camps, located in northern West Bank, the largest displacement in the West Bank since 1967.

Since late January 2025, the Israeli military has exploited the world’s focus on the war in Gaza to launch a military campaign against Palestinians in the northern West Bank, notably in the Jenin and Tulkarem refugee camps.

The Israeli forces assaults continue to this day, resulting besides the displacements, in destroying homes and civilian infrastructure, meaning people have nothing to return to, once the assaults end.
