Instagram post – Israeli military forces violated the ceasefire agreement more than 700 times, killing more than 350 Palestinians.

Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement was announced on 10 October, Israeli military forces have violated the ceasefire more than 700 times, resulting in over 300 Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip. In addition, the entry of humanitarian aid remains restricted.

These violations include direct gunfire and shootings targeting civilians, homes, and displacement shelters; air, ground, and naval strikes on Gaza; armored vehicle incursions into residential and agricultural areas; and demolitions of civilian buildings and infrastructure.

Amnesty International released a report on 1 December titled “Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza continues unabated despite ceasefire”, stressing that the ceasefire risks creating a misleading sense that life in Gaza is returning to normal, while in reality the situation on the ground is the opposite.

The report stresses the role of the international community in not being complicit, urging states to pressure the Israeli government to end these violations, allow unfettered access to humanitarian aid, lift its unlawful blockade, and end its ongoing war on Gaza.
