Fuad Nassar Institute, a progressive Palestinian think tank based in Ramallah, presented “an alternative vision from a left-wing perspective”. Bassam Salhi, Head of the Palestine People’s Party, summarized the research process, which was accompanied by members of different progressive political movements. He said the study’s goal is to be of assistance progressive political currents in Palestine with alternatives to and exits from the current poor economical plans and projects within the Palestinian Authority area. The study was explicitly designed to support the political left in shaping its programs and electoral campaigns.
