Palestine Insights – Critical Interventions, edited by Dr. Karin A. Gerster and Mahmoud Muna: is a bilingual reader that brings together essays, studies, and critical reflections by leading thinkers across disciplines. The book engages Palestine as a political and intellectual terrain, examining land and geography, political economy, law and governance, society, culture, and artistic practice as interlinked sites of power and struggle. Moving beyond description, the volume offers critical interventions that challenge dominant narratives and rethink how Palestine is written, governed, and imagined. The contributing authors, Dr. Nasser Abdelkarim, Bayan Haddat, Dr. Nour Bader, Carine Metz Abu Hmeid, Mahmoud Muna, Dr. Munir Nuseibah, Mai Kaloti, and Raya Ziada, will join the event to read selected excerpts and reflect on the questions the book raises about knowledge, resistance, and political futures.
Gaza: Extract of Misery, by Ali Abu Yaseen: Writes in his significant and tender language, as a Palestinian from Gaza about the daily reality in the still ongoing Genocide.
The book launches will be followed by a reception, where Dr. Karin A. Gerster will use the chance to say good bye.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 10-02-2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the RLS Office in Ramallah.
Translation will be available in Arabic and English.

يعقب إطلاق الكتب حفل وداع للدكتورة د. كارين أ. جيرستر لانتهاء فترة عملها في مكتب مؤسسة روزا لوكسمبورغ في فلسطين والأردن.
ستتوفر ترجمة إلى اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
