Halina Wawzyniak discusses the unification of the German party DIE LINKE with members of the Palestinian Left 30 June – 3 July 2008.

“It was not the official declaration that unified our party, but continuous joint activities on the political and social levels”, explained Halina Wawzyniak, deputy head of the German party DIE LINKE (The Left). She reported to members of Palestinian left parties in Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, and Jenin about the specific mechanisms in place to unify the two root parties Linkspartei.PDS and WASG in 2007.
